KVK Selsura, Wardha (Dr. PDKV, Akola)- Dr. J. R. Katore, Senior Scientist and Head participated in Field Day of Banan Demonstration by Maharashtra State Seed Corporation Limited (Mahabeej) on 23.05.23 at Sukali Station Taluka Seloo District Wardha. G-9 varieties of tissue culture was planted by 8 farmers during july2022 and at filling stage. In the program DSAO Shri. Prabhakar Shivankar, General Manager Mahabeej Akola Shri. Prafull Lahane, Tissue Culture Lab incharge Shri. Deshmukj, Mahabeej Regional Manger, District Manger and their team was present with 60 farmers. Dr. J.R. Katore told about suitability of Banana crop in changing climate-resilient practices and raising awareness among farming communities and other stakeholders. with this discussed on Challenges in adoption of climate resilient and climate smart agriculture practices amongst farming communities.
